Training for the Radiation Safety Trainer

3-day course, US$ 1,095

Radiation Safety Training GuideThis workshop is designed for RSOs, RPMs, HPs, or other trainers with responsibilities for radiation safety training. This workshop draws upon more than 25 years of studies, training, workshops, and experience on how to effectively present radiation safety information to workers and others. The focus of this class is on training as a communication process.

The workshop will review educational models, how adults learn, and ways to facilitate the learning process. Practical examples and techniques will be demonstrated for successful presentations to all types and levels of workers. The training style of each trainee will be determined by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to identify strengths and weaknesses. Practical guidance will be tailored to each person’s needs.

Attendees will receive an extensive training manual and dozens of demonstrated techniques for effective presentations, plus free refresher training (you may attend this workshop again free). The instructor will be Ray Johnson, CHP who has presented successful training in several hundred workshops over the past 20 years. Credits are approved by the ABHP and the ABIH.
