The Radiation Safety Academy has provided Basic Radiation Safety training to over 5,000 new radiation workers
at dozens of companies. Such training is required by radioactive material licenses for all radionuclide users.
This training also provides a good introduction to radiation fundamentals for others who are interested in
radiation safety.
When you select the Academy to conduct a workshop at your facility you have the opportunity to customize the
training with instruction in applied radiation safety along with radiation basics. Applied Radiation Safety
subjects emphasize practical applications of radiation fundamentals in the use of radiation instruments,
contamination control, and safety audits.
Customized workshops can be for 1 hour up to 1 day depending on your needs. For more information on our fees
