Radiation Detection Instrument Calibration Services

The Academy has performed over 15,000 calibrations of radiation detection instruments. We can calibrate portable and installed contamination detection instruments.

Our calibration procedures follow ANSI N323a-1997 standard using NIST traceable sources. Upon completion of a calibration, a report is issued which documents the instrument's detection efficiency. In addition, labels are placed on the meter and the probe to document proper calibration.

Please print, complete and submit a Calibration Request for each meter to be calibrated. The payment information needs only be completed once if multiple meters are being calibrated at one time. Please know that return shipping charges are an additional cost.
